Hello!
I am really interested in your Forensic Science: DNA analysis experiment! However, I need a testable and accurate Hypothesis. I am wondering what I could use for one and how I would test it? I saw the comment on the page about buying different brands of food coloring and testing that but that just does not sound like a good hypothesis to me.

Hello Natalia,

There are several Science Buddies projects that involve DNA and Forensic Science. In order to develop a testable hypothesis, I suggest that you refer to the Science Buddies project guide:

https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ndex.shtml, particularly the section on constructing a hypothesis and study the background section of the Forensic Science project which you are most interested in.

Think about the question that you want to answer, and think about the possible answers. Then think about how you would set up an experiment to answer your question.

Let us know if this helps and if you have more questions.
