Hello,
I hope that another expert can also assist, as I am not an expert on electronics. However, are you certain that all of your connections setting up your photoresistor and the connections to the multimeter are correct? Let us know and we can help you further.
Best,
Pharma

Hi,
In addition to what PharmaMan said, you might also want to look at the Science Buddies guidelines on how to use a multimeter to measure resistance:

I am trying to do this project too and had the same problem. My problem, as it turned out, was that I was not using a photoresistor. The picture they use in the instructions looks like it has a little clear plastic bulb and that was my mistake. Look up photoresistor images online. There is one in the kit. Hope that helps.
