Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hi there, I am using daphnia magna to determine how harmful lawn runoff(after applying fertilizer) is to aquatic animals. I am planning on diluting the runoff that i collect to simulate the runoff joining with a larger body of water(a lake for example), but I am not sure how much to dilute it, or if I even should! Please help!
