Hi mariamsoumare01,

Is your question related to a K-12 science project? If so, what is the hypothesis you are trying to test? If not, then a different set of online forums will be better able to assist you. These ones are dedicated for students, parents, and teachers working on science projects.

In brief, however, the expansion and contraction of gasses depend on temperature, pressure, and the number of gas molecules present.
