My daughter tested whether tide pods would clean food from clothes. She tested baby food in carrots, green beans and apple and blueberry flavors. Her hypothesis was that Tide pods would not clean the stains. After washing the shirts, the shirts with the carrots and green beans still had stains. How can she word her conclusion? That the hypothesis was partially true? Please help!

Hi Doraly,
What a fascinating project and interesting results! I would suggest that your daughter describe the results just as you have - essentially the effectiveness of the Tide pods in removing stains depends on the type of food stain.
It would be fun if she includes photos of the shirts and photos of the baby food with her science fair display!
Thanks for sharing this with us!
