PH LEVELS

My friend and I are doing a project about PH levels and beverages. We have put a piece of beef liver in each type of drink. We are noticing that there is a lot of debris ( 1/8 cup) at the bottom of the all the beakers of Mountain Dew, Coke, a lemon water. What is the debris? What caused it?
