Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hi my name is Sean I live in Ireland and I have a science competition project I need done for may.
My project is breaking down plastic. I have found two strains of bacteriathat i can use to breakdown the plastic.
The two bacteria Sphingomonas and Pseudomonas. My question is where can I buy or find these two bacteria and how do I
Breakdown the plastic down, do I break it down by adding a sample of plastic to a agar plate with the bacteria,do I add the bacteria to water and submerge the plastic to break it down.

Hey Sean!

All I have to say is, it is hard to name bacteria that breaks down plastic or where to find this special idea. The thing is, all you need to do to figure this out is to google it! Just make sure that you use reliable websites. Ones that end with ".gov"
are always reliable. DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA,BLOGS,OR FACEBOOK!!!!! Hope you find this useful.
