Well, the formula for the speed of a wave is the wavelength divided by the period, or the number of cycles per unit time. Since you are given the speed of the wave (how far it travels in a specific unit of time), and the period, you can multiply the two to get the wavelength.

The frequency is even simpler. It is equal to the inverse of the period, so 3 osculations per minute.
