I´m working in a physics investigation related with the effect of the temperature in the guitar strings, I´ve read all the physic concepts about this topic but I really need help.
I want to know some ideas to improve this investigation.
And another thing that I really need is how I´m going to make the experiment? How can I control the Temperature, or how can I aply the temperature to the strings without affecting my own guitar.
Any ideas?

Hi saucedo425,

What is the temperature effect on guitar strings that you want to investigate?

If you don’t need a big change to observe the effect you might be able to adjust the thermostat at your house to get a couple of different temperatures. After changing the thermostat wait for a while to allow the guitar to equilibrate to the new temperature setting. Then make your measurements.

I hope this helps. Please post again if you have more questions.
