I could only find two relevant references to duranta erecta. Both refer to its poisonous nature and the possible use as an herbal remedy for malaria (
http://www.fs.fed.us/global/iitf/pdf/sh ... a%20erecta') and as a treatment for intestinal worms (
http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/syll ... a%20erecta'). I could find no references to the fruit extract being used or tested as a fungicide. In fact, the only references I could find regarding duranta erecta with regard to fungicides were ways to effectively use fungicides to prevent leaf curl from affecting the plants, sorry.

Hi, This website mentions that the fruit extract contains "saponins" that are poisonous to humans. You could try searching for more information on "saponins" to find your answer.
Hope this helped!
