Is it possible to create energy from the elctrolytes found in gatorade?

Hi there,

If you are wanting to do a science project on energy from gatorade, you might consider starting off by recognizing that gatorade is a conductor of energy and look at it that way.

Since gatorade has ions in the solution, it is reasonable to assume that it will conduct electricity. If you are doing an experiment you may want to start with something that is a testable hypothesis-- say comparing gatorade to other types of solutions or liquids. Maybe try out different types of sports drinks, soft drinks, or even just water.
