URGENT HELP! SCIENCE FAIR BRIDGE BUILDING

Hi All! I am looking to build 3 types of bridges from Popsicle sticks for my Science Fair project. However I am having a VERY hard time finding websites with step-by-step instructions on how to construct the bridges! I found one that is not so great on how to build a truss bridge on Instructables.com, but that is it so far! I would also like to build a beam bridge and a suspension bridge.

Does anyone have any instructional websites they can share? Even sites that have step-by-step instructions from other students who have built these types of bridges would be great! I would LOVE instructions with pictures, but at this point, beggars can't be choosers. My project is due by November 10th so I am desperate!

Thank you!!

Hi Kopinski476,
This sounds like a fun experiment! Here are some resources that may be of use:
https://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Bridge- ... cle-Sticks

There's a related experiment on science buddies that you may find useful as well:

Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.
Best of luck with you experiment and bridge building!
Willey

Thank you for your reply, LeungWilley. I did review the science fair project that is posted here on Science Buddies. After checking out the wikihow link you shared I have a great idea how to build my Truss bridge. If only I could find instructions that good for an Arch bridge and a Suspension bridge now, I would be all set!

Thanks again for your help!

Glad to hear that those info were of some help.

For the Arch bridge and Suspension bridge, I came across this site that may be helpful. The pictures looks like they may be good starting points.

For the Arch Bridge:

For the Suspension Bridge:

And here's the getting started page from the site,

Good Luck!
