Do you have and suggestions for elaborating further on the experiment of "The Effect of Mental Stress on Blood Pressure and Heart Rate?" I am looking to add on or alter my project.

Thank You

Hi Ronakm,

How are you going to set up the condition of "mental stress?" And how are you going to make sure that the blood pressure and heart rate variations of your test subjects come directly from your "mental stress" condition?

Ronakm,

The idea is excellent, but it is nearly impossible to have enough controls in place to do this experiment accuratly. To many variables are out of your control. Also, each person responds differently to stress. "Mental Stress" is to vague. Every person will react differently. I would urge you to consider a different question, unless you can ensure proper controls!

yah! i totally agree.
beside, is it not against the ethics of research if you are going to use humans to experiment on mental stress...? and being "stressed" is quite relative!
