Testing for the Amount of Proteins, Lipids, and Carbohysrates.

Hello! I really need some help from an expert on which tests would be good to use for measuring the amount of lipids, proteins, and carbohydrates present, but not the presence. I need 3 tests that will show a measurement. Will the following work if I am testing a food sample that is blended to be a liquid?

Hi Sadia22551,
The protein test strips you found can provide an approximate amount of protein in a liquid sample. Note that the amount of protein is indicated by the color of the test strip. So colored liquids may interfere with the test strip performance.
Benedict's solution can indicate presence of carbohydrates (simple sugars like glucose) but cannot indicate the amount of carbohydrate. Glucose test strips are available that provide an approximate amount of glucose in a liquid sample. These are mainly used for analysis of urine.

Sudan III can indicate lipid presence but not the amount. I'm not aware of a quantitative test strip for lipids. The following link has an overview of a few method for measuring lipid contents:
