I was wondering how I could do a science project using human urine for fertilizer and be able to make it into high school level. I got to thinking about it and wouldn't human urine be to acidic for use of fertilizer on plants? If I could get an answer as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!

Hi there! I think you might have just asked your own science fair question. You're interested in the potential use of human urine as a fertilizer, but you're concerned that it might be too acidic. So why not test exactly that? You could expand the question into a bigger project by testing whether changing the pH of samples influences their effect on plant growth, whether diet affects urine pH, etc... just get creative! Good luck!
