Properties of Tungsten Iodide and More

Hi,
I am working on a conceptual and theoretical project that involves Tungsten Iodide. I have a few questions about the properties of Tungsten Iodide, and I don't care about anything I could find on google. I am not interested in temperature ranges, but rather; hardness, the reaction of the crystalline structure when a large force is quickly applied to it, as well as its potential, to absorb radiation. I would have calculated all these on my own, but with my currently limited knowledge of chemistry (seeing as I am only in the 10th grade) does not permit me to even know where to start testing for a majority of these questions. I am aware that the easiest way to test these properties is to test them in a lab as most of them could easily be done in a lab. However, I am lacking a lab as well as access to Tungsten Iodide. I am searching for answers to these questions, or a way to calculate them on my own. Thank you.
