Science Project: Demo of Heart with pacemaker

Wishing all a great new year.
My daughter is taking up a challenging project for the school science fair : demo of a heart with pacemaker. I have tried many online resources and did not find guidance. Can someone help? The heart model (display only) is ready. I have to teach her to liven it up, simulate the failure and show the heart back in action with pacemaker. Or, if there is any idea to satisfy the project objective, please let me know.
I look forward to your help.

Thanks and Best Regards from India,

Hello in India and welcome to Scibuddies!

How does your heart model work? Does it have a pump to circulate 'blood'? Does it have the four chambers with major artery and vein? How did you plan to cause a 'heart attack'--just stop the beating of the heart? A pacemaker would just start it up again, I assume.

The heart is a muscle and therefore is under control of nerves to activate its contractions. Do you have the nerve connections as part of your model? This would be where the pacemaker acts, I think, by giving the heart muscle a little jolt of electricity in the correct area at the correct time. How detailed is your model?

Sorry to ask so many questions when we are supposed to be giving you answers, but I can't really tell you how to set up the pacemaker if I don't know how you have created the model. Post again with details and we will try to help.
