Hello, im doing a science fair project.does this sound like a competitive project for a high schooler? my research question is does caffeine affect the human heart rate(pulse), blood pressure, and the ability to perform on test. so I plan on getting 4 groups of people. group 1: young boys 14-18, young ladies 14-18, men 19 and older, and women 19 and older. for the heart rate parting going to do the following
randomized and give people in each age group a type of caffeinated soda and check the heart rate to see if it the caffeine increased it or not.'
for the blood pressure is going to be doing the same thing but I'm just going to be checking for blood pressure
and for the performance part, I'm going to give them 2 test. test 1 will consist of easy basic questions and test 2 will consist of trick questions. I made trick questions because I think that the caffeine will help you focus better. and after that, i will see if the caffeine had an effect on performance by grading the test
also, how would I write a background statement for my project and abstract, and does it seem like it could win.
and what are my 3 varibles
