Problem with project

My daughter did the something is fishy about that fertilizer project and all of the sea fleas died almost immediately upon being put into the fertilizer solution. Please help!

Jennpgold - You were using daphnia? How did the ones in the distilled water (control) do? They were fine?
In this project, you test three different fertilizers. Did your student observe the same result for each? How quickly did they die? What it the same for all three?
