What is the best set up of the science fair log book for middle graders?

Is it customary to to use index card for your research?

How long should your research report be and should it include your conclusion of your results from the project?

Deloneyd,

Read the information located in the "How to do a Science Project" section. If, after reading this information, you still have questions, then please tell me what they are. I would then be more than happy to answer your questions!

My question was not answered there. I need to know what exactly goes in the Science Fair log. Doe all of the brainstorming, of possible topics are just teh topic you are working with.
Do letters to various people need to be there, etc.

deloneyd,

Your logbook should include everything that you think about, do, or talk about regarding your science fair project. Tape or paste every letter, e-mail, and any other pertinant papers into the notebook. Be sure to include the date, time, and location of every entry. Think of it as your science fair journal.
