How would you deal with planting on ruff terrains like mars :?:

Hello and welcome to science buddies!
Growing plants on mars has proved a difficult task, Mars actually does have a bunch of nutrients in the soil located in some areas of the planet. The problem with growing things on mars would be the gravity difference, the perchlorates(bad chemicals that would have to be leeched out of the soil), and how we would sustain the plants without water reservoirs. Rough terrain does not always pose such great obstacles as these though, so the conditions of planting and the methods would be different for different terrains. We haven’t really started growing things on Mars yet, but with using the soil we’ve collected and anti-gravity chambers we’ve been able to replicate the conditions we need to overcome.
I hope that helped!
