Hi tired,

I agree with the previous Expert's suggestion.
In fact you can easily answer this question yourself by conducting an experiment.

Following the Scientific Method: First come up with a question. Then guess an answer (hypothesis). Then test it with an experiment. Then come up with an answer.

Take a ball and drop it from different height and see how many bounces you get. That simple.
Make sure to use the same ball and the same location for each drop.
