Problem with the Electrolyte challenge

When I was doing the science experiment I found out that the conductance kept on going down. For example, when I was measuring the Gatorade the conductance was 3.02 milliamps then, after I rinsed everything with distilled water, I tested the Orange juice. 2.89. Seems like the Gatorade was winning. But I needed to repeat the experiment because, well, it's science. This time I tested the Orange Juice first. It was at 1.23 milliamps. then I tested the Gatorade. 1.20 milliapms.
The numbers just kept on going down after that until it got to 0.30 milliapms. I don't know if this is a problem with the multimeter or the wire. I suspect that it is a problem with the multimeter because I tested the wires and it was all perfectly conductive.
Is this normal? Please help
Thanks
