there’s 3 phases in a human birth: dilation, expulsion, and placenta birth. do fruit bats have the same thing? and if not, what are those differences? i can not find this info ANYWHERE, please tell me there’s a SCIENTIST SOMEWHERE!!!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I know who does--The Lubee Bat Conservancy in Gainesville, FL: https://www.lubee.org/https://www.lubee.org/

They breed and raise many kinds of fruit bats and other species and they can surely tell you about the reproductive process of these fascinating critters. I have been there several times to see the bats and they are wonderfully adapted creatures. It is great that Lubee has been able to create and maintain this facility for so many years to do research and breeding on bats. They are really an important part of many ecosystems, especially the ones that eat harmful insects.

Post again later and let us know what you found out about bat birth.
