Help for Project: Trial Question

Hello,
My teacher set out the guidelines that everyone has to do at least 10 trials for their experiment. I am doing this experiment:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... square-law
I was wondering that to calculate many trails would I just calculate the distance again and again for each type of lightbulb i compare? I would then have slightly different numbers and then I would calculate the average of them and apply the inverse square law. Right?
I would appreciate any help! Thanks!!
