Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hi, my son was inspired to work on this project when we checked out your web site. We bought the components for the project. However we do not have the instructions for setting up the program. After searching and searching we realized there is an SD Card that has instructions and we do not have that. Unfortunately, we are very limited as far as understanding programming language. We have spent numerous hours trying to figure it out. Only to end up frustrated.
Is there any way we could purchase the SD card only?

Hi - The directions for the 8 projects that are part of the Raspberry Pi Projects Kit are only available on the SD card that comes in the kit. These projects are developed specifically to work with the Raspberry Pi B+ that is in the kit and a special version of Scratch that comes on the card and enables GPIO pin access.
