First of all, good night! hope I'm not disturbing any of you amazing teachers, but I need a professional opinion on what topic would be easier and more entertaining for a science fair!

Project A: Rock formation, and I think this topic is very fun but will everyone understand the rock cycle?

Project B: Continental Drift, and as well I think this is another superb topic, but I dont want Wegeners hypothesis to stump people. You know what I mean?

I would really appreciate some help!

Have a goodnight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

Hi and Welcome to SciBuddies!

Both of these projects are interesting ideas, and would be suitable for a middle school group, but I was wondering, how are you going to test the rock cycle and Continental Drift theory? These may be a bit difficult to experiment with.

If you are interested in Earth Science as your project idea, here are a few other projects on SciBuddies that may help:
These two are hard to do, but have to do with the movement of plates: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ng-of-fire
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... -tectonics
This one is about earthquakes: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... arthquakes
This one talks about rocks in the earth's crust: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... /oil-rocks

Hopefully this helps! Let us know if you need anything else:)
