Hi

I am in 6th grade and I am interested in this science experiment. I have a science fair and I was looking for some projects and found this one but, I have a question about this project. I am confused about how to measure the quality of the water before the experiment and how to measure the quality of water after the experiment ? My teacher asked me how I am going to measure and test the quality of the water so, I need to know. Please get back to me as soon as possible. I need to tell my teacher this on Monday.

Thank you

Hello! If I read the experiment correctly, you measure the contamination before and after based on the color of the water. I believe you create a self determined scale of the color based on how light or dark the water is with the coloring. For example you could have 0 represent clear water and 10 very dark green or whatever color you are using. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
