Hi for the Isef paperwork there is a Potentially Hazardous Biological Agents Risk assessment form. In this it asks if you got src approval. There are some exceptions like Protists, Archaea and other related organisms. I was wondering if E-Coli bacteria counts as Archaea-like and is exempt from src approval. If not then where would I find someone who is in the SRC to approve my project.

E-Coli is a bacteria, and definitely one that can be hazardous to humans if used improperly. You will need approval to use it in a project. I think each fair will have their own SRC rules so I cannot be much more help. You will have to talk to your teachers or fair administrators about how to get approval and exactly what you need.
