Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

so i'm doing the experiment Can You Change the Rate of a Chemical Reaction by Changing the Particle Size of the Reactants. this experiment is actually on science buddies, you can search and find it. click the procedure. i'm unsure of where to place the Alka-Seltzer tablet, upon completion of setting up the apparatus. does it go in the plastic tub or in the graduated cylinder?? maybe the squirt bottle? to whoever answers my question, tysm!!

This sounds like a fun project! To clarify the procedure in step 4e you will drop the Alka-Seltzer tablet into the squeeze bottle and quickly put the cap with the tubing back on. The tablet will generate gas inside the squeeze bottle which will then flow through the tubing into the graduated cylinder. You will then be able to measure the volume of the gas created in the graduated cylinder.
