Helicopter lifeoff

since I suck at science, I want to confirm the following. In the project helicopter liftoff, they asked about what is the independent and dependent variable, control, group, and experimental group. Plz respond asap. This is my science project.

Hi msungheing,
An independent variable is something that you change in an experiment to observe a response in the dependent variable. In your project consider what you are changing to see the effect you want to observe. The independent variable is the thing you're changing. And the dependent variable is the effect you want to observe. The helicopter liftoff project is a little tricky because you're making a measurement of the independent variable when your change it, and you're measuring the change in the dependent variable as well.
A control or control group is something that has not been experimentally treated and can be used as a reference point. An experimental group is something that has been treated and can be used to assess change from the control. Your project does not have control or experimental groups.
