Total resistance in a circuit

What is the total resistance of this circuit? I’m so lost because I can’t figure out what type of circuit this is. Is it parallel? Series? I’m confused about the line in the middle that doesn’t fully cross over. This is my image

Hi,
Is this for a science project that you are working on?
In the image you posted, the 6 ohm resistor is not part of the circuit because there's no path for the current to flow. (it's called an open circuit) so for your circuit analysis, it doesn't exist.
