How do you culture cyanobacteria (Lyngbya sp.)? What are the media, optimal conditions, and lab equipment necessary for large-scale culturing techniques (we are going to harvest an amount certain compounds from them)?

I can't access research papers/resources regarding the topic because they cost money :(

Thank you

Hopefully someone with experience in this area will come by, but until then , can you tell me where you're getting your cyanobacteria? Are you buying it, or collecting it from nature? If you're buying it, it will come with culture instructions. What is your hypothesis and planned protocol?

I found this discussion about your topic, https://www.researchgate.net/post/what_ ... obacterias
and it sounds like culturing a wild sample will take some trial and error.

If you have specific research articles you're interested in, can you post the titles? I may have access to some of them.
