The project asked for 6 100 sq mm (10 mm x 10 mm, or 1 cm x 1 cm) but i'm checking that size, and that seems way to small. Is this an error? The reason I believe this is because it tells me to lay out the magnets on the sheet metal, 21 magnets on one, that wouldn't exactly fit..., which is why i'm asking to see maybe if it's 1000 mm or 10 cm or something else, because 100 mm doesn't seem possible to work.

Are these the size of the cover slips you are referring to here? If it is, then 10 mm x 10mm is correct. This would make sense because this size cover slip would easily fit on a small magnet, allowing you to grow the Planaria right on top of the magnet after you cut them. Then you can put the magnet/cover slip in a petri dish with a wet paper towel on the bottom to keep the Planaria from drying out during the experiment.
