anti-fungal assay

Hello there,its been so long time that I didnt posts some questions but, Im so thankful for your all answers youve been shared to me....Those answers are all worthy.It help me in making our resesrch project...Now I need again your help...Ammm I wanna ask about what is an anti-fungal assay? And does Duranta Erecta has more saponins than the other plants?

I'm sorry I can't help you with your saponins question but an anti-fungal assay would be a measurement of the portion of a substance that had anti-fungal properties. You would need to know what specific chemicals of the substance had any anti-fungal capabilities and count the amount of those chemicals against the total amount of the original substance.
