PLEASE HELP with Devising an Algorithm for Solving Rubik's Cube

Hi, I completely understand the topics and sequences in this project and realize that those three sequences are not enough to solve the cube. I need help with additional algorithms as I don't know what to do. Please let me know if you have any additional sequences that will help.

Thanks.

Hi zjhaug15,
This sounds like a fun mental challenge!

There are many website that talks about solutions to solving a Rubik's Cube. Here's an example:

Good Luck and please post again if there's anything else we can do to help.

Keep in mind that for the project, the goal is to come up with your own algorithm -- your own sequence of steps to solve the cube. Three sequences that may be part of that are provided.

There are links to other sites that show step-by-step directions, like the one Willey also provided. But using someone else's full set of steps will mean you didn't work through the challenge and do the project yourself.

You may also want to look at this similar project at Science Buddies, which is easier: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... ubiks-cube
