Hi Henry,

Are you trying to do this for a science fair project? Could you please describe in some more detail what the goal of your project is? What you are exactly asking? You can also share a link if you read something online. We will be able to help you better if you share some more details with us.

Best,
MS

Hi Henry, the directions for the project are here:

I've never tried squeezing juice out of a banana before, but if your unripe banana won't yield juice, I'd say to find one that's slightly more ripe and try again.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi Henry!

Here's a video that explains why fruits turn brown when you cut them, which is related to your project. If your unripe bananas are not producing any juice, you may want to change your experiment slightly and test the varying sugar concentrations in ripe and "stale" or "bad" bananas that have turned brown after being exposed to air, rather than testing sugar concentrations in unripe and ripe bananas.

Please give us some more information about your project so we can better assist you.

Hope this helps!
