electron orbit

Hey, if electrons rotating around a proton have a centripetal force and an electrostatic force keeping it in orbit,
1) where does the electron gain the energy to stay in the orbit.
After some time, the electron should lose energy and crash into the proton right.
2)if it crashes into the proton, would it just bounce back?
3)if a proton with sufficient energy is shot towards an electron, shouldn't it just crash into the electron and from a new sub particle.
Any help would be appreciated.
