what is logic behind PCR?

may we make a comment about PCR machine's..
first step: denaturetion is boiling nucleic acid until 5'-3' & 3'-5' DNA sequence's splits away from theirselves.
second step: annealing is cooling down the nucleic acid until the DNA primer's bond those sequences.
third step: extension is warming the nucleic acid enough for primer's extension happen.
i made this comment throught "distance between substances depending on the temperature"
