may we make a comment about PCR machine's..

first step: denaturetion is boiling nucleic acid until 5'-3' & 3'-5' DNA sequence's splits away from theirselves.

second step: annealing is cooling down the nucleic acid until the DNA primer's bond those sequences.

third step: extension is warming the nucleic acid enough for primer's extension happen.

The Ask the Experts forums are for students in grades K-12 (and their parents and teachers) who are working on hands-on science projects. If you are in that group and working on a science project, please provide more detail about your project, including your hypotheses and the experiments you plan to conduct. Otherwise, there are other sites on the internet where your questions would be more appropriate.
