Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

If I were to do this project, how would I measure the bacteria? To find out which disinfectant is best, I would need to know which kills bacteria the best. Yes, I could use the marketing label and go with that, but I'd much rather want to learn how this could be done. Please respond, Science fair doesn't stay for long.
