How can I make a power source that isn't big, but is powerful enough to power something for more than 24 hours?

Hello and welcome to Science Buddies!!
Is this question for a science project? On this forum, you can get help on questions related to science projects or experiments. If this is the case, please provide us with some more information about your project so we can better assist.
It would help us help you better if we knew your hypothesis, IV, DV, and experiment plan.

In the meantime, I advise you to explore the Science Buddies website, as there are a multitude of resources you might find helpful for your project. I suggest checking out these links:

Hope these help, but if you'd like a more specific answer, once you've provided some more details about your project we'll be happy to help!!

Stay nerdy,

Hello!

Is this part of a science fair project? If so, please provide more information about your project question or topic and current progress so the mentors here can better assist you! Also, this would be a good question to post in the ScienceBuddies Physical Science forum for grades 6-8, or the Math and Computer Science forum for grades 6-8, as you may be able to receive some more detailed assistance in these forums.

Here's the link to it the Physical Science forum for your grade level at ScienceBuddies! viewforum.php?f=26

This one is for Math and Computer Science: viewforum.php?f=27

Some information that may help the mentors answer your question is providing the answers to:
1. What are you trying to power? For example, is the device an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or another processor?
2. What would you like to use as your power source, for example, a battery pack or solar panel?
3. Important things to consider when designing your power source are the voltage required to run the device you want to power and current.

Hope this helps!
