How to track genomic revolution of COVID19 using NCBI
Our project is tracking genomic revolution and we are using NCBI as our resource. We want to track down strong variants such as delta variant, and compare its protein sequence to the initial covid protein sequence early in China. But we are struggling to use the tool how to search delta variants from the website and how to read the Multiple Sequence alignment viewer. Can someone help us with this?

Hello!
Here is a link to the Help page from NCBI virus. It has detailed explanations of how to use the BLAST tool and how to search for virus sequences.

I'm also including a link to a video tutorial on how to use the Multiple Sequence alignment viewer.

I hope this helps. If you have still have more questions about how to use specific aspects of the website, feel free to post them here!

In addition to the links koneill18 shared with you, I wanted to include this new video from Science Buddies which offers a tutorial for using the NCBI website. It might be helpful: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/video?id=933
There is also a walkthrough video for BLAST: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/video?id=932
