For this experiment, how would you write a hypothesis?

Hi there,
I hope you're having a great day and thanks for your question!
For this project, you are investigating the efficiency of the electrochemical cell you have constructed, when using cobalt as a catalyst. Your hypothesis should simply state what you predict the results will be under certain conditions, and should always be testable. In this case, you could predict (hypothesize) how the efficiency of the electrochemical cell will change as the cobalt catalyst is added. You could also hypothesize how much cobalt catalyst will be needed to increase the efficiency of the electrochemical cell. Your hypothesis will depend on the specific question you are asking. A good hypothesis is formulated by first asking a question and then reading background information/sufficient literature regarding the topic.
Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out if you need clarification or have additional questions about this project.
