What exactly is the ratio of baking soda and sugar needed for experiment? Is powdered sugar okay for the experiment? Can you tell some examples of lighter fluids?

Hi - the written instructions for the project tell you how much of each material you will need. The pictures also show an example container of lighter fluid. It should be available at grocery stores and hardware stores. https://www.sciencebuddies.org/stem-act ... fire-snake

We have not tried the experiment with powdered sugar, but comparing powdered sugar and regular sugar would be a good experiment!
