Smelly Science: A Sniff Test
What is the unit of measurement for the dilution factor or odor threshold in the Smelly Test experiment? How would you write this in a graph of information?

Dilution factors are not measured in units, as they are ratios of the volume of the new sample (mL) as compared to the volume of the stock sample (mL). When dividing, units "cancel out," so the mL unit is no longer used. You can construct a bar graph with the various scents on the x-axis and the dilution factors on the y-axis. Hopefully this is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Good luck with your experiment,
