Hello! I have a science project due on January 9 and I chose the Cool Blue Light Experiment. In the experiment I need a thermometer. A kitchen thermometer to be exact. I bought a meat kitchen thermometer but it didn’t work so I was wondering which kitchen thermometer works better for this experiment or just what thermometer works better for this. Thank you

It looks like you are measuring the temperature of water, which a meat thermometer should work for. I don't exactly know what you mean when you say it doesn't work, but it seem like a meat thermometer was what they meant by kitchen thermometer. A normal thermometer should work too if you have one.
