how to test

Post by Jhaskell05 »

I would like your opinion on how to measure the results on the project how much force does it take to drive a nail trough different types of wood I've built the apparatus and have to do three test should I measure it by how many hits it take to drive the nail through the wood or rename the project and have a set number of hits and see how much nail is still sticking out of the wood.

Hello,
It seems like the easiest way to test this would be to find the average amount of hits it takes to drive the nail into each type of wood. I will say, your idea of testing how much the nails stick out should totally work as well. Just make sure that your dependent variable is on the x-axis and your independent variable is on the y-axis.
Hope this helps!
