How does the food die affect the taste of cheesecake?

Hi,
Food dye usually has no taste on food, however, if you were to use a certain amount, it is possible that it could have a slight effect. Studies have found that people may perceive a food to taste a certain way depending on its color, so it may have a psychological impact rather than physically changing the taste.
