Science Buddies: "Ask an Expert"

Hello, I am a student in southern Colorado and my science teacher has assigned an end of year project. I am looking for advice on my project. I need to know why my belt drive for my solar powered car is not working/rotating. Pls lmk if you can help

First, can you let us know if you are doing this project from the Science Buddies website? If so, did you purchase one of the kits listed in the Materials section? https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... owered-car

Second, can you describe exactly what is happening with the car? For example, if you disconnect the belt, does the motor spin? (if not, then there is something wrong with your circuit)
