What's the IV(independent variable) and DV(dependent variable)?
What makes the plane fly faster?
What makes it stay in the air for a longer time?

Hi KrupaTrivedi123, the independent variable is the variable that you are changing. The dependent variable is the variable that you are measuring. A good way that I remembered this was using the pnemonic CHin MOde: CHange = independent, Measure/Observe = dependent.
As for what makes the plane fly faster, try and think about what makes a plane fly in the first place (Different air pressures above and below the wing). Also, thinking about what makes the paper plane fly will also help with making the plane stay in the air longer. Here is an interesting resource that may help:
